This was the first year Faith was into the egg hunt, and boy did she hunt! She ran like a racehorse across the lawn trying to gather eggs. The minute she heard that the eggs had M-n-M's inside she decided that she needed to gather as many eggs as possible! We did a hunt with all the cousins at Grandma & Grandpa Cota's house. We had 94 eggs in all, so each child got 19 eggs. Once the hunt was over Faith couldn't wait to devour the candy. It was probably her favorite part of the day. Ethan found his 19 eggs almost immediately. He ended up with about 35 Chuck E Cheese tokens, so he's happy as a clam. The weather was awesome, the kids ended up in their swimsuits and ran through the sprinklers. It's strange how we're so hot out here and some states are still dealing with snow. But that's why I love living where we do, I just couldn't handle being cooped up indoors for months at a time.
Overall, Easter was great. Faith didn't get a nap so she got cranky for a bit, but I think the candy helped to ease her pain!
